There are two standard sizes of LEDs – 3mm and 5mm. These are the larger of the two. You can use either size in your projects. We prefer the 5mm LEDs when good visibility is desired, and the 3mm LEDs where space is important. The 5mm LED is a great choice for LED lovers (who isn’t) or when you want high visibility.
